Overview

Thanthai Roever College of Nursing has successfully stepped into 2020 with completion of 26 years of its fruitful service to the nation in the field of Nursing Education. The tireless efforts of our Chairman Dr. K.VARADHARAAJAN., and the support from our Vice Chairman Mr V. JOHN ASHOK, realized celebration of Silver Jubilee academic year. In the academic year, 2018 – 2019 7th batch of M.Sc.(N)., 15th batch of BSc (Nursing), 23rd batch of DGNM have completed their graduation and with them, the institution has strengthened the health care delivery system of our nation by the dedication of 1075 undergraduate & 32 postgraduate Nurses to shoulder the health care delivery system of our nation.

MISSION

Thanthai Roever College of Nursing aims to : *TRCON is established to impart value-based nursing education focusing on rural upliftment. The college strives to develop a person who is caring, responsible, nationalistic, creative, critical thinker and assumes responsibilities for personal and professional growth inculcating ethical – legal, moral and spiritual values.

HISTORY

MILESTONES

2011- M.SC Nursing program started  program started under Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai

2005- B.Sc Nursing ( B.Sc N )  program started under Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai under the name of THANTHAI ROEVER COLLEGE OF NURSING.

1994- Diploma in nursing and midwifery (DGNM) program started under Director of Medical Education under the name of THANTHAI ROEVER SCHOOL OF NURSING

Principal’s Message

The College of Nursing believes in value-based quality nursing education to the rural student fraternity. The college aims at imparting professional education at its highest standards to prepare the nursing professional who can compete and excel at any given opportunity with appropriate competency. We focus on the overall development of the student with humanity and social responsibility at its core.
