The Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing Department provides students with in-depth knowledge and practical training in maternal and women’s health. The department emphasizes antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care, newborn care, family welfare services, and management of reproductive health issues. Students gain hands-on experience in labor rooms, maternity wards, and community health settings, enabling them to provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care. The department also focuses on counseling, high-risk pregnancy management, reproductive health education, and promoting women’s wellness throughout the life cycle.
